Revolutionary Gel Nasal Pillows: The gelnasal pillow from Philips Respironics, the industry leader in gel masktechnology, is designed to comfortably seal at the opening of the nose todeliver the therapy pressure. The gel ring is very soft and flexible to conformto the shape of the nose. All three sizes of the gel nasal pillow come packagedwith both models of the Nuance letting the user select the optimal size for fitand seal. To extend the life of the mask, replacement pillows are available forpurchase.
Nuance (Fabricframe) vs. Nuance Pro (Gel Frame): The Nuance mask comes in 2 frame options, the Nuance with a Soft Cloth Frameor the Nuance Pro with the Silicone Framewith Gel Pads.
Nuance features a soft and flexibleframe that is made of soft, breathable, non-slip fabric. The lightweight designof the frame is a compliment to the flexibility and is easily removed forcleaning using the Velcro tabs that use connector loops to attach at the crownstraps. Keep in mind that the fabric frame used with the Nuance is notcompatible with the Nuance Pro headgear.
NuancePro is a silicone frame that features Gel pads that are placed at the cheekarea. The permanently attached gel pads provide the user with added comfort andstability. The headgear attaches to slots in the frame using Velcro tabs thatcan easily be removed for cleaning. Keep in mind the silicone frame with gelpads used with the Nuance Pro is not compatible with the Nuance headgear.
