The AirSep FreeStyle 5 Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC) is a pulse dose oxygen concentrator with settings 1 â€" 5, that enables higher-flow patients to be as active as possible. It now comes with a nice black fashionable and durable carrying case, with a padded handle and shoulder strap that makes it easy to wear and carry with you wherever you go, around town, on road trips or even in flight.
The AirSep FreeStyle 5 offers 1-5 pulse settings at less than a foot tall and only 4.4″wide. When used in setting 5, the FreeStyle 5 is capable of delivering up to 750 ml per minute of oxygen, the equivalent of a 5 liter oxygen output.
The FreeStyle 5 weighs just 6.7lbs (3kgs) and is easy to carry. For greater comfort whilst on the go, the machine can also be worn over both shoulders with the back-pack harness (an optional accessory). It comes in a hard-wearing bag with a pocket space to store an additional battery. One battery pack is included as standard and is inserted into the front of the machine providing up to 4 ¼ hours operation time. The double battery package comes with an additional battery pack.
The AirSep FreeStyle 5′s control panel features a very simple user interface making it extremely easy to operate. The FreeStyle 5 has only 6 buttons in total, one for each flow setting and one to check your battery life. To turn the machine on, simply select your desired setting in accordance to your prescription by pressing one of the five pulse flow buttons on the control panel â€" and thatâ€s it, your machine goes on to your desired setting!
You can also press the battery check button to see the remaining operation time.
Checking your battery life just takes the press of the button labeled "BATTâ€. After pressing the button you will see 1-4 LED lights illuminate on the control panel to indicate your remaining battery life.

The new battery system for the NEW AirSep FreeStyle 5 replaced the old internal/external battery system and now it only operates using an external battery life.

The AirSep FreeStyle offers three different charging options available. The AC power supply, DC power supply, and the optional external battery charger.
Your package will come standard with the AC and DC power supplies which lets you recharge your batteries and power the FreeStyle 5 virtually anywhere. The AC power supply is for home use and plugs into any wall outlet. The DC power supply is for use on the go and plugs into the cigarette lighter in your car, truck, RV, or boat.
When the FreeStyle 5 is plugged into either the AC or DC power supply your battery will recharge and your concentrator will supply you with oxygen on all 5 settings. However, if you are using your concentrator while trying to recharge your batteries, they will take longer to achieve a full charge.
The external battery charger has 2 charging bays so you can recharge two batteries at a time. It is equipped with a 110v power cord for use at home. The optional external charger lets recharge your extra batteries while you go to the doctors, run errands, or exercise. This charger can be added to any FreeStyle 5 package.
Purchase of the
FreeStyle 5 includes a 3 Year warranty on the portable oxygen concentrator unit and a 1 year warranty for batteries and accessories.
