Philips Respironics DreamStation Heated Humidifier Features:
Optional Heated Tubing: By using the optional heated tubing you may decrease the chances of rainout while warmth is provided to the air youâ€re breathing. Fixed Heating Mode: With this great feature, you are allowed to apply constant heat to the heated humidifier plate, regardless of the humidity level in the room!
Adaptive Humidification Option: It adjusts the heat settings throughout the night and monitors ambient humidity levels to continue to provide a comfortable humidity level. Using the Adaptive Heating Mode can help reduce the chance of any condensation build up in the tubing.
Dry Box Technology: It was designed to help reduce the chance of water damage when the optional humidifier is used your machine. If any water were to escape from the water chamber, the Dry Box is designed to trap the water within the walls of the unit to prevent water from traveling through the machine and humidifier connection. In addition, the air outlet port uses a one way valve to prevent water from exiting the water chamber and entering the machine.
Preheat Option: This option allows you to heat up your humidifier 30 minutes prior to use, making your therapy that much more comfortable from the moment you put your mask on!
